Q:    Who is Colour 2 Glass Ltd?

 

Colour 2 Glass are a bonafied UK company with a Factory, Showroom. We maufacture Glass Splashbacks at our own factory, we also Measure and Fit to most of the UK mainland. Our factory is situated in Liverpool about a mile from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

 

When comparing prices and quality, make sure you know the name and the address of the other company you are dealing with. Beware of companies that don’t display their FULL COMPANY DETAILS or hide behind quirky Free  telephone numbers, mobile numbers and call redirections.  Check the address on Google, if a house or ramshackle building without thier name on, you may have a problem.  Dont pay in advance unless you are sure they are bonafide

 

Only 6mm glass is recommended for Splashbacks. Some companies don’t mention the thickness or hide 4mm somewhere on the website.

 

Q:    How long will my order take?

 

Standard Sizes - From our dropdown menus can be Printed or Sprayed and delivered in about a week. Bespoke sizes or full kitchens can take 3 weeks.

 

Q:    Payment and Shipping

 

We have chosen to use PayPal to handle our payments as it accepts most major credit cards and is a proven, secure payment solution. Furthermore, you do not need to have, or create, a PayPal account to make a purchase. You will be directed to pay for your glass as you complete your online order.

Q:    Why are our prices so low?

 

At Colour 2 Glass we carry out all our own Printing and Spraying. We are not agents nor do we out source our work. All work is carried out on our premises

 

Q:    Can you cut shaped pieces?

 

Glass Splashbacks can be curved or shaped to accommodate cooker hoods, etc. We can shape the splashback any size within 3000 x 1500mm. Most kitchen hob areas can be done in one piece.

 

Q:    Can I have holes or cut-outs in the glass?

 

Yes. Glass Splashbacks can be cut in many ways to allow for sockets, drill holes or shaping to a cooker hood for example. The accuracy of these is vital because we cut prior to toughening and once toughened no changes can be made.

 

Q:    Will the colours look the same as on my computer screen?

 

They will look almost the same but don’t forget images on screen look different from the real glass as contrast and brightness settings of a monitor could be different. The same is also true for any print out you may have as printer settings also vary from printer to printer. If in doubt supply us with  a colour swatch or order a sample. (see sample in the menu)

 

Q:    Is my splashback made in UK or a Chinese import?

 

Generally, if a company only offer standard sizes and colours and not bespoke (made to measure) sizes. The splashbacks could be imported. We do all our manufacturing in house with UK products.

 

Q:    Returns & Refunds

 

Please check for any visible signs of damage to the packaging of your order before signing for the delivery. Any items damaged in transit should be noted at time of delivery, and if possible delivery should be refused and returned to us.

 

If your Glass Splashbacks arrives defective this should also be noted at time of delivery and returned via the courier. If the Glass Splashbacks do not fit we cannot issue you a refund if the measurements match the measurements on your invoice, so please check your invoice prior to completing payment.

Please ensure that you have thoroughly checked your order before signing for it. Once signed for any claims made by you will be validated at our discretion and should be raised with 24 hours of receipt. Where you have asked us to leave your order in a safe place at your premises or with a friend or neighbour you do so at your own risk. We recommend that you have the friend or neighbour check your order on your behalf. Where possible, we reserve the right to repair any defects rather than remaking that particular piece of glass or issuing any form of compensation. If the glass is fitted we are unable to consider any claims of damage.
